He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Payant (McFadden) and Thomas Payant; and his siblings, Marie-Paule Smith, Andre, Richard, Gaston and Normand.
He is survived by: his sisters, Michelle Barton (Ron) and Suzanne Payant; his niece Natalie Payant; and his nephew Rick.
