He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester Bassett and Catherine Bassett (Tompkins) of Nepean, ON; his siblings, Dave (Elaine) of Ottawa and Liana (Ted) of Ottawa; his nieces and nephews, Christine, Courtney, Briane Bassett and Scott MacMillan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan, Edward, Ashtyn, Taryn and Brock; and his godsons, Zach Dubuc and Martin Doyle. He was also cherished by his family but by a variety of friends and coworkers.
