She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her parents, George Whelan and Amy Whelan; and her sisters, Moira and Kathleen.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn (Rick); and her grandchildren, Gillian, Daniel, Lauren and Keenan.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any animal rescue organization would be welcome.

“Dear Nana, So many special memories with you come flooding back over and over. I smile then find myself missing you so much. Weeee... when Dan and I would go racing by, singing us songs, all the card games, shopping, taking my calls every night for a month to flip through Consumers Distributing/Sears catalogues (Xmas time) and never making me feel like a bother, and recently, talking over long lunches.
