She is survived by: her husband Jim McGill; her children, Cynthia Katz (Michael), John Lancaster (Chrisann), Adam McGill (Jenn), Ethan McGill, Daine McGill (Stacie), Joy McGill (Mike), Kathleen Bryson (Andrew) and Blair Simser; and her siblings, James Macartney (Hanna), Donald Macartney (Sue), Elizabeth Macartney (late Gord Smith), Jane Burgess (Richard) and Margaret Joyce (Bruce).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
