“Hi Matthew, Let me start by saying my deepest sympathies. I’ve been going through this nightmare for 23 years now. My daughter started using when she was 15. At first it was heroin, then it became fentanyl and crack. She lives with me today. I’m also trying to get her into OCH. I hear what you’re saying when you thought maybe things would change for the better for your brother because he finally had housing. I wish the government would take this on like they did for Covid. I got the chance to spend many field trips with chis during the time he was at south hall. He was always a bright light, encouraging people, such a kind hearted person. When picking up my daughter after rugby Chris would be there encouraging the team on and offering some joke, or wisdom. We would often give him a ride some where and share laughter. You will be forever missed. Xo”
