It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgije Blanusa (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Georgije shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Georgije farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilija Blanusa and Vidosava Jelenkovic; and his brother Milenko. He is survived by: his wife Stanija; his sons, Ilija and Goran (Kim); and his granddaughter Isabelle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
