As Kitty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kitty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kitty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband David LaChapelle. She is survived by: her children, Mike (Anissa) and Michelle Varkel (Robin); her grandchildren, Joshua, Karlee and Kurtis; and her siblings, Mike, Bill and Gina. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8).
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
