He is survived by: his wife Marjorie MacDonald; his children, Angela Lockhurst (Jamie), David MacDonald (Danielle), Anita Knight (Randy) and Amy MacDonald; his grandchildren, Antoinette Lockhurst, Tamara Lockhurst (Mike), Dylan Lockhurst (Brittany), Nathaniel Lockhurst, Brianna Lockhurst, Caleb Lockhurst, Brandi MacDonald (Dale), Amber MacDonald (Chris), Stewart MacDonald, Victoria Knight, James Knight, Joseph Knight (Lianne), Joshua Knight and Sabrina Mallais (Brad); and his siblings, Robert MacDonald (Carol), Ronald MacDonald (Lois) and Gayle Koolen (Peter). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
