He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his brother Arnold Woodman (late Alice); and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Jim and John Hogan.

He is survived by: his daughter Sylvia Fairhead (Nick Sotirakis) of Barrie; and his granddaughter Holly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
