He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Dopking and Norma Dopking; his siblings, Jean, Rose, Bessie, Bill and Charlie; and his stepbrother Billy.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Bruce (Darlene), Michael, Cheryl (Larry Bendyk) and Todd (Coralee); his grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Jasmine, Jessica, Tia, Deidra, Matthew and Lucas; his sisters, Mary and Lorna; and his stepsisters, Joy and Bonnie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
