He was predeceased by: his son Eric. He is survived by: his wife Tine "Tina" (Bruinsma); his children, Pete (Tish), Herb (Elaine), Bern (Monica) and Joanne (John); his sister Irene Newman; his grandchildren, Shawn, Mitchell, Bryson, Dawsn, Zanden, Gage (Emily), Forst (Sydney) and Colt; and his great grandchildren, Sarah-Rose, Atticus and Minerva.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church (607 Dynes Rd, Burlington, ON L7N3G6). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Burlington Memorial Gardens (3353 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7R3X4). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church (607 Dynes Rd, Burlington, ON L7N3G6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
