She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Silva and Capitolina Matos; her half-siblings, Edilberto, Deolinda, Manuel, Leonilda, Merissa and Maria; and her spouse Jaime.

She is survived by: her siblings, Eduino (Meliana) and Clementina; her children, Paulo and Alessandra; her daughter-in-law Maria; and her grandchildren, Paulo (Alaina), Luna and James. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends.
