It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Whelan of Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Janie; and his siblings, Bill and Daisy. He is survived by : his children, Leanne Zambito and Scott Whelan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Giovanni, Adriano, Francesco Zambito, Xander and Mackenzie Whelan; his siblings, Mary Clark (Jim) and Dougie Whelan; his sister-in-law Patricia Ferguson; and his friend Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakview Funeral Home (56 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1C7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8).
