He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Katherine Deschene (Sylvie) of David Cooper, JR, Kirk Cooper, Norman Cooper and Cory Young-Cooper (Julie-Jenn); and his parents, Clarence Cooper Sr. (Angie) and Blanche Bigras.

He is survived by: his children, Angel Cooper (late John Pigeau), Rose Cooper and Bryan Young-Cooper (Misty); and his brothers, Ron Cooper (Claudette) and Ray Cooper (Doris). He is also survived by his 43 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
