He was predeceased by: his brothers, Leon (late Aldona) and George Ziemanis (late Gwen). He is survived by: his wife Edith "Edie" Ziemanis (Sawden) of Nipissing; his children, Krista Ziemanis of Manitoulin Island, Sondra Ziemanis-Salcedo (Ramon) of Calgary and Paul Ziemanis of Etobicoke; his grandchild Kaden; and his sister Rita Ozols (late Juris Ozols).
