With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velva Elizabeth Kesseler of Niagara Falls, Ontario, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velva Elizabeth Kesseler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Glenda Nettleship; and her parents, Bill Black and Mabel Black. She is survived by: her husband Ernest; the mother of her child Saundra Somerville (Michael); her son Peter (Manuela); her grandchildren, Angela (Jon), Bryant (Rebecca), Sarah Beth (Andrew), Taylor, Andrew, Cherith (Matt), Jenna, Lauren, Daniel and Jordan; her son-in-law Gary Nettleship (Pam); her brother Robert Black (Susan); and her great grandchildren, Kallie, Bronson, Sawyer, Amelia, Jack, Archer, Savannah and Aurora. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Velva's request was that memorial donations may be made to Compassion Canada (pls. indicate given in memory of Velva Kesseler).
