He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanislaws Soltys and Anna Soltys; and his siblings, Kaz Soltys (late Mary) and Maria Gladky (late Waldek). He is survived by: his wife Jadwiga; his children, Anna Soltys (Ralph Maro) and Dan Soltys (Connie Stark); his grandchildren, Justin, Claudia and Kayla; his sisters, Elizabeth Soltys, Helen Owczarek and Kristina Soltys; and his sister-in-law Zofia Pawlak (Joseph).

Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Health Foundation Walker Family Cancer Center and would be appreciated by his family.
