She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clarke and Amelia Clarke (Greenfield); her son Mark Bembridge; her former husband Merl Bembridge; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Charlotte Devita.
She is survived by: her husband John Ovenden; her children, Sheryl Lirette (Wayne) of Sackville, NB and Jeff Bembridge (Val) of Amherst, NS; and her stepsons, Randy Ovenden (Fay), Tim Ovenden (Charlotte), Ken Ovenden Pat Buma (Denise) and John Ovenden (Sandy). She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
