He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hobbs and Myra Hobbs; his parents-in-law, George and Pearle Ireland; and his brothers, Roy Hobbs and Paul Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Kenny Hobbs of Mississauga and Joanne Veloso (Manny) of Guelph; his grandchildren, Ashley McDowell (Craig), Kaitlyn Veloso (Morgan Smith), Jesse Brassett and Brandon Brassett; his great grandchildren, Easton McDowell and Levi Veloso; his aunt Shirley Gommell; his siblings, John Hobbs (Diane) and Dianne McKinnon; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Moore (George), Lynn Hobbs and Barb Hobbs. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
