She was predeceased by: her father Bert Aitken; her grandparents, Murray, Vera Aitken, Everett and Jean Vrooman; her aunt Ruth; and her uncles, Alex MacDonald and Keith Vrooman.
She is survived by: her close friend Stuart Husk of Mount Forest; her son Colton Thompson (Montana Leach) of Raymond, Alberta.; her mother Bernice Aitken of Mount Forest; her aunts and uncles, Shirley (Kurt Havlas), Brian (Doris Aitken), Isabel (Bob Alford) and Wanda Aitken of London; her sister Dawn Ferris of Dundalk; and her friends, Owen, Kayden, Kalista Rae and Heather.
