We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2024, at the age of 68, Valerie Powell (Mississauga, Ontario), born in Carbonear, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Powell and Lloyd Powell; and her siblings, Ken (Diana), Lloyd (Janet) and Dianne (Gary).

She is survived by: her close friends, Jamie (Nancy), Erin (John), Valerie, Lesley (Johan), Lyndsey (Mike), Alison (Kevin), Colin (Ari) and Elizabeth (Jason); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Ashleigh, Jack, Katherine, Will, Max, Jake, Bronsen, Sawyer, Adalyn, Carter, Brielle, Lucas and Quinn.

Donations in memory of Lynette to Trillium Health Partners Cancer Foundation or Bethany United Church in Carbonear NL would be appreciated by the family.
