She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gordon Hayes and Alice Hayes; her husband Michael; her children, Carolyn Juergens (Christopher), Graeme (Cheryl) and Heather Britten (Tim); her grandchildren, Elyse, Raegan, Grace, Jacob, Lily, Jack, Charlie and Brodie; and her siblings, Ron (Dolores), Norm, Murray, Kathy (Peter), Arnie, Bruce (Kathy), Art (Deb) and Bob. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Erin Mills United Church, or Indspire - an organization supporting indigenous youth.
