He was predeceased by: his son Stephan (Mary); and his great-grandparents, Landon, Maxim, Carissa, Matteo, Alexa (Chloe) and Ethan (Paige).
He is survived by: his close friend Mississauga; his wife Maria; his children, Ruzena Kapitan (Mike), Igor (Milena), Mary Burger (late David), Dusan (Ivana) and Michal (Barbara); his grandchildren, Michael (Nadia), Debbie (Matt), Mark (Jenny), Veronica, Jason, Zachary, Monica (Sherif), Nancy, Diane (Lucho), Jane (Stuart), Andrew, Suzanne, Daniel, Adam and Nicholas; and his great great grandchild Noah.
