We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 85, Emil Jursa (Mississauga, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jursa and Susan Jursa; his brothers, John, Edward and Joseph Jursa; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry, Joe and Pauline.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Sue (Garry), Tim (Ingrid), Steve (Will) and Catherine; his grandchildren, Brenden, Katie, Clara and Jack; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary, Maureen and Mary Ellen. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Emil took great pride in his contributions to the arts and performed in the annual Staff Arts Christmas Concert for over 30 years, with his final performance being in 2019.
