She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick Barboza and Benedicta Caitana Barboza. She is survived by: her husband Francisco Soares; her children, Nicholas and Amanda Soares; and her siblings, Edna Fernandes (Tony), Lourdes Kapoor (Leo), Cynthia Noronha (Pascoal) and Jude Barboza (Juliana).
