She was predeceased by: her husband John Andrew Nelson; and her parents, Olive Penny Ross and Robert E. Ross. She is survived by: her brother Robert Ross; her children, Michele Lee Nelson Cummings (Jonathan) and Christopher John Nelson (Kimberley); and her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Makenzie and Olivia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Penny was more than just a grandmother; she was their cherished nana.
