He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen; his children, Rachelle, Mark, Paul (Wanda), Sharon (Taylor), Carl (MorticiA) and Lindsey (Travis); his grandchildren, Myrhanda, Melissa, Benjamin, Brandy, Tammy, Cindy, Cameron, Rowen, Phoebe, Evelyn and Jeremy; and his brother Doug. He was also cherished by his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.

“Hello from Scotland. I have very great memories of growing up as a neighbour of the Hills on Belgravia Avenue just up the street from Mr Noah Hill and family. Father was restoring a vessel with great care and skill. On completion it was too large to get down the narrow drive and a crane was brought in to help it escape to the water where it belonged. Patricia always spoke of Bud as uncle Len. He will be missed but not forgotten. God Bless and comfort you in this great loss.”
