He was predeceased by: his parents, William Logan and Viola Logan. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Sherry Logan, Paula Brand (Bill), Jean Moore (Jim) and Tom Logan; his grandchildren, Faith, Tyrell, Wyatt, Austen, Quinn, Chloe, Clara and Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Ellieanna; his siblings, Bill Logan, Darlean Day (Lester) and Tim Logan; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Horahan (Larry), Wendy Singh (late Harry) and Joe Zammit (Winnie). He is also survived by many other cousins, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
