He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Marie Hinze (Williamson); his children, Julie (Jerry) of Alberta, Rick (Amanda) of Maynooth and Cynthia of Bancroft; his grandchildren, Thomas (Britney), Samantha (Darren), Tyler (Natasha), Curtis (Chantelle), Victoria (Andrew), Jonah and Emma; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jackson, Alexis, Gracie, Bria, Jordan, Landon, Madison and Lauren; and his siblings, Lorne (Fern), Marjorie, Audrey (Glen), Gordon (Pat), Allen (Janice), Shirley and Julianne (Edward). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
