He was predeceased by: his spouses, Shirley Scott and Jennifer Scott (Williamson); his parents, Guy Scott and Nellie Scott; and his siblings, George Scott (Joan), Millie Simpson (Don), Penny Olexiuk (Wallie), Vera Walker (Ken), Anne Niemi (Bill), Jean Campbell (Ross), Norman Scott, Charlie Scott and Edna Scott.

He is survived by: his children, Merle Scott (Carol), Pattie Hogan (Tom), Donald Scott and Judy Sleeper (Marvin); his grandchildren, Annie Dawson (James), Blair, Tanya and Keith; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Freya and Alayna; and his siblings, Archie Scott (Brenda), Mable Stamplecoski (Wayne) and John Scott (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimers Society of Hastings-Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
