He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burke and Mildred Burke; and his siblings, Harriet and Patrick. He is survived by: his children, John (Jack), Kenny Burke (Sheila), Cheryl Whiteman, Rick Burke (Kim), Patrick Burke (Natasha) and Kimberly Jackson (Joe); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Josh, Dan, Miranda, Jared, Carter, Brady, Trayton, Danika, Camden, Kaden, Kyler and Amelia; his great grandchildren, Johnny and Raylee; and his siblings, Betty (late Phil), Michael (late Gladys), Jimmy (Alice), Lorne (Cindy) and Tom (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions (mask wearing, social distancing, and contract tracing of guests) will be in place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to A Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
