He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert McLaren and Marguerite McLaren (Kerr); his wife Marjorie; his son Keith Carnie; and his grandson Curtis McLaren.
He is survived by : his friend Veronica Oulds; his children, John McLaren (Carol), Bill Carnie (Cindy), Brad Carnie (Bethe), Arnie Carnie (Sandie) and Philip Carnie (Cathy); his brother Stewart McLaren (Dorothy); and his friends, Dr. Bill Payne (Marjorie), Dr. Mike Newell (Erin), Nick Glazier and Mark McGill (Patsy). He is also survived by friends and extended family.
