He is survived by: his spouse Jean Blythe (Villamere); his children, Mike Blythe (Karen), Joe Blythe (Audrey), Gerald Blythe and Colleen Jones (Jeff); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul), Alex, Katie (Patrick), Lindsay (Chris), Jennifer, Meghan, David (Shelby), Laura (Nathan), Steve (Kiersten), Matthew (Kristina), Ben, Curtis (Glynis) and Emily (Owen); and his sister Betty Karl (late Ivan).
