With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Albert Barnes (London, Ontario), born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Albert Barnes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Barnes and Jean Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Sue Barnes; his children, Devon Edward Barnes, John Anthony Barnes and Amanda Jean Barnes; his children-in-law, Tara Jewell, Claire St. François and Wesley Johnson; his grandchildren, Rémi Barnes, Castien Johnson-Barnes and Rory Johnson-Barnes; his sisters, Louise Petheram, Dorothy Purcell and Nancy Elzinga; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Elzinga, Ted Purcell and Roger Farrugia.

He battled a courageous fight with Parkinson's Disease for many years, and, if desired, any contribution to the Parkinson's Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by his family.
