He was predeceased by: his wife Emilia Mendonça; his parents, Jose Raposo Mendonça and Maria Teresa De Sousa; and his siblings, Manuel, Lequecina, Dorvalina, Maria, Luz and Jose.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michelle, Andrea, Emily, Mathew, Chris, Jessica, Evan, Nicholas, Adam, Olivia and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Jevon, Naiya and Milly.
