He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Conklin and Alice Conklin (Rutledge); his sisters, Marilyn Massecar and Audrey Conklin; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Smith and David Young.
He is survived by: his children, Sean, Coralee of Walsingham and Ryan of Courtland; his close friend Rita Milton of Langton; his sisters, Shirley Smith of Walsingham and Lois Young of Tillsonburg; his brother-in-law John Massecar of Tillsonburg; and his former wife Cheryl Ann Conklin of Courtland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Friends of Algonquin Park would be appreciated by the family.
