He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Mae Byers (Gilchrist); his parents, John Byers and Lillian Byers (Ressor); and his siblings, Jack, Gordon, Pat and Muriel.
He is survived by: his children, Paul, Nancy of Kitchener and Faith (Dan Davison) of Eden; his grandchildren, Amy (Max), Christopher (Amanda), Scott, Isabel, Jenna and Jacob; his great grandchild Gabriel Davison; and his sister-in-law Sandra Byers.
In lieu of flowers. donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
