She was predeceased by: her husband Claude; her parents, John Schurter and Blanche Schurter; her brothers, Barry and Alfred; and her parents-in-law, George and Bernadette Haffner.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Blake (Mike), Laurie Ditner (Wayne), Lisa Haffner (Kevin Mitchell) and Brad Haffner (Deborah); her grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Krissy, Katherine (Riley), Gary (Jenny), Jon (Emily), Jessica, Brooklyn, Adam and Connor; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Kaleb, Cassidy, Aria, Tenley, Calvin and Scarlet; her sisters, Charlene Durrer (Lloyd) and Karen Leinhardt (Doug); and her siblings-in-law, Willa Schurter, Lloyd (Celeste) and Mary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
