He is survived by: his wife Jill; his sons, Zachary and Michael; his parents, Steven Scherer and Susan Scherer; his brother John (Stephanie); his nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Taylor and Maylin; his grandfathers-in-law, Freda Roberts and Marjorie Skinner; his brother-in-law Chad Roberts (Mandy); his nieces and nephews, Charlie and Carter; and his aunts and uncles, Derek Hines, Susan (Karen), Mark (Paula), Joe Scherer (Betty), Tiffany Hines (David) and Donna (Peter).
