He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol; his parents, George and Edna (Richardson); and his parents-in-law, Milton and Dora Steinacker.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his children, Pam Stemmler (Derek) and Greg (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Krista Matthew (Jacob), Julia, Emily, Nathan, Adam, Jana and Milos Takacs; his in-laws, Nora Martin (Emerson), Lorene Morrice (late Gord), Thelma Smith (late Ernie), Ruth McMahon (late Mike) and Jodie Connor (late Art); and his caregivers, Joanne, Dr. J. Golubov, Dr. M. Kilmurry, Dr. S. Hubay, Dr. M. Reid and Donna. He is also survived by Uncle.
