He was predeceased by: his parents, William Valk and Madeline Valk (Hanmore); his brother Gerald Valk; and his sister-in-law Linda Valk. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Morris (Allan), Robert, Mary Abram (Frank) and Patricia Engelhardt (Hans); and his sister-in-law Edna Valk. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
