She was predeceased by: her husband Andy Berger; her parents, Gustav Herlt and Marie Herlt; and her sister Gertrude Hauber. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Hayden, Jenna, Janelle (Mark) and Matthew; and her brother Walter Herlt (Lorraine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
