It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Natalia Shanahan (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Shanahan; her child Lynn Giffin (Robert); and her siblings, Jenny, Anne, Angela, Franny, Millie, Jeannette, Louie and Ronnie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her chosen children.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society - Dementia Research and Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
