Eleftheria Mihas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleftheria Mihas (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Doctor Fernandez (Marques); her husband Tom Mihas; her children, Nikolas Mihas (Tanya), Katerina Goros (Demetre) and Chris Mihas (Natalie); and her siblings, Vasiliki Stergiou (late Vasilios), Eftihia Tsatsas (Antonios), Olga Chantzaras (late Theodore) and Thomas Christakis (Alexandra). She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A prayer was held on Monday, September 2nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church (527 Bridgeport Rd, Kitchener, ON N2K1N7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, or the Toronto General Hospital (Peter Munk Cardiac Centre) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
