She was predeceased by: her children, Christine (Gary) and David; her parents, Edward Brown and Veneda Brown; and her brother Stephen.

She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Paul, Eric and Sarah (Andrew); her grandchild Cailyn; her brother Edward (Ted); her sister-in-law Frances; and her niece Heather. She is also survived by her brothers spent many happy days at her aunt and uncle.

“I am so sorry to hear of the death of a very dear and close friend Donna and I shared many wonderful memories of our travels together. We met in high school and continued our friendship for most of our twenties and thirties. I was a part of her wedding party and then she was a part of mine. Although we didn't see much.of each other in these later years due to long distances (moved to Ottawa) I have always carried our friendship close to my heart. Donna's friendship was a great blessing”
