It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald George Spalding (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on October 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Spalding and Kathleen Spalding; his son Brent; the mother of his children Donna (Metler); and his brothers-in-law, Dave McCulloch and Tom Jenks.

He is survived by: his daughter Samantha; his grandsons, Isaiah, Jackson and Benjamin; and his siblings, Fran McCulloch, Margo Jenks, Bette Simard (Mike) and Susan Morrison (Dan). He is also survived by Uncle.

“I was in Grade 8 with Donny and he was always a "bit of a free spirit" and a nice fellow I recall Sister Augustine naming Donny to be the lead Patrol Boy for our school. She was astute as she knew Donny had the leadership skills to lead the patrol boys with assignments and support. He did the job well and was respected by the guys. I don't think I have seen Donny since grade school. I hope he had a good life and may he rest in peace Dave House”
