He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Ernest and Vivian; and his sister Alice. He is survived by: his significant other Rita O'Connor; his daughter Cheri (Mike Boychuk); his sisters, Dianne Howe and Cindy Howe; his nieces, Sandi (Peter Shaw) and Tracie Holmes; his nephew Michael Girodat; his great-niece Stephanie Ejsymont; his great-nephews, James Shaw and Evan Armstrong; and his significant other's children, Kandace Pearson (Clarke), Shawn O'Connor and Kevin May (Carolynn). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
