He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas and Elsie (Herb); and his stepbrother Jim (Marilyn). He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lynn (Greg Brazier) and Jason (Michelle); his stepsiblings, Shirley (Bill), Marjorie (late Herb), Rosemary, Elizabeth, Paul (Janice), Donny (Sherrie) and Richard; his nephews, Justin and James; and his niece Anne.
