He was predeceased by: his spouses, Rose Beitz and Moyra Obermeyer; his parents, Henrietta Dear and Herbert Beitz Sr. Dear; and his siblings, Margaret, Elmer, Harold and Herbie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Mortimer (Dale), Lynda Fitzgerald (Jerry) and Mary Lamot (Bruno); and his grandchildren, Rebecca (Travis), Brandie (Preet), Matthew (Courtney), Jennifer (Paul), Justin (Larkyn), Nicholas and Jacob. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
