She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Dawn) and Rick Schmidt; her nieces, Rachel, Dianna, Lee-Ann, Paulette, Joanne and Brenda; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Carter, Jordan, Meghan, Samantha and Rebecca; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Layla and Roland; and her spouse Air Force Pilot (Dieter Schmidt). She is also survived by other nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
